Cyphesis 0.5.12 Release
Cyphesis version 0.5.12 has been released and is now available from the WorldForge download site.
Cyphesis is a small to medium scale server for WorldForge games, with builtin AI. This version includes the demo game Mason which is currently in development. This release is intended for server administrators wishing to run a Mason server and World developers developing new worlds or game systems.
Major changes in this version:
The server now warns if the character needs food.
The weather has been enhanced to provide more varied rain, and variable visibility.
Dependency failures are now reported much more clearly.
More tool types are now available for sale at the too merchant.
Database functionality is now handled more dynamically, and the server will run when no database is available.
Rubbish around the new character spawn point is now cleared up automatically by NPCs.
All cyphesis commands now have better help and version reporting.
Lots of bugs have been fixed.
Source code and Linux binary packages can be downloaded from here:
