Cyphesis 0.5.13 Release
Cyphesis version 0.5.13 has been released and is now available from the WorldForge download site.
Cyphesis is a small to medium scale server for WorldForge games, with builtin AI. This version includes the demo game Mason which is currently in development. This release is intended for server administrators wishing to run a Mason server and World developers developing new worlds or game systems.
Major changes in this version:
The way rules data is handled is now much simpler to make it easier for game designers to create what they want.
Lots of hard coded functionality has been removed from the compiled core program.
Core functionality is now associated with properties and so can be applied to any entity.
Most of Mason has been reimplemented as task scripts which are cleaner and more flexible.
Add more helpful messages when inconsistencies are detected in rule data.
Cyphesis now works more reliably as an autopackage.
Source code and Linux binary packages can be downloaded from here:

It looks like the files have been broken on sourceforge since I uploaded, with no error having been given by the sourceforge site, so I am now uploading once more. Things still don’t look so good, but I’m hoping they will work once the files have had a change to propagate to the mirrors.

The downloads are now confirmed working. Sorry about that.
