Google has just opened applications for students who want to participate in the Google Summer of Code 2010. If you want to help building tools for great MMOGs, you should have a look at our ideas page.
In order to help you figure out if you have the skills needed to work on Ember, and in order to help us to filter out non-serious applications, we ask students who are applying for ember to find and fix two errors in this special code drop. Also see the Ember prerequisites on this.
A similar coding challenge exists for Wombat, where applicants can have a go at implementing a recent feature request. See the wombat prerequisite for details on that.
We’re looking forward to your applications, and happy hacking!
