Dealing with disaster
Many of you have probably heard by now that my employer, the University of Southampton was recently the victim of a serious fire, the largest in Hampshire for two years. Details including photos can be found here.
The immediate effect of this is that along with hundreds of my collegues I am currently not able to get into my office, and all my time for the forseeable future will be tied up helping the school recover from this tragedy.
This means that the ammount of time I will be able to spend of WorldForge development will be greatly reduced over the next few months. I am sorry for the setback this will mean for the project, but I hope everyone understands that this is a very difficult time for all concerned.
It is not yet clear when things will start returning to normal, but I will let everyone know on irc when things start progressing.
