Mason 0.3 has now been released, and is available to play on a number of public servers using the latest releases of WorldForge clients.

Mason is third demo game from WorldForge. The creative vision is an online roleplaying game in which players can build complex structures in a fantasy setting, from houses to castles, and utlimately build mechanisms and machines from door locks to siege engines.

This new version of Mason includes the following features:

• Mason is now supported in two major 3D clients, Ember and Sear.
• An advanced terrain system has been implemented including procedural texturing, paths, modified areas and swimming in water.
• Building materials and resources can be gathered from the world using tools.
• Work has started on a new combat system.

The software required to try out Mason, or run your own game can be downloaded from the Mason download page
